This module had a design element where I use another students design and cut and constructed it. The characters design was based on a future, upcoming film 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets'.

To complete the cut and construction I used the 'Pattern Magic' books by Tomoko Nakamichi.

I also researched animals and the shape of the legs on exotic creatures as these were used for influence on the design. from my references i then produced the trousers by padding up the legs with body padding and sewing into them to create different shapes, mainly relating to images of reptiles.
